Dorit Schwartz
Dorit Schwartz studied Fine Arts at the Wizo Art School in Tel Aviv and from a young age, has been drawn to the diversity of nature, which you can see throughout her portfolio. She first began with clay, then moved onto marble carving, and now works with wood and crystal. Schwartz revels in working with these rare mediums, such as crystal, raw stone, and reclaimed wood, exploring the natural value of these materials and creating new forms of art by fusing them together.
Her sculptures physically express the otherwise invisible connection between spiritual power and the natural world. The brilliance and beauty of her pieces derives from the crafting of sensorial perception and tactile enjoyment for her audience. Schwartz finds joy in providing these new and powerful experiences of balanced and natural harmonies working together in a piece.
